Multivariate Calibration Transfer between Near-Infrared Tablet Analyzers
نویسندگان
چکیده
calibration transfer method is evaluated by transferring multivariate models between two equivalent near-infrared (NIR) analyzers for the prediction of A an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) in tablets. The method includes selecting a few representative samples, building a transformation relation, and standardizing spectra. Backward and forward transfer approaches are compared. A practical approach is proposed to maintain multivariate models and to validate successfully the calibration transfer without requiring reference values. Successfully validate the calibration transfer without requiring reference values for prediction of an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) in tablets

Determination of Protein and Moisture in Fishmeal by Near-Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy and Multivariate Regression Based on Partial Least Squares
The potential of Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS) as a fast method to predict the Crude Protein (CP) and Moisture (M) content in fishmeal by scanning spectra between 1000 and 2500 nm using multivariate regression technique based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) was evaluated. متن کاملEffect of Seed Size and Density on Near-infrared Transmittance Analysis of Corn and Soybeans
Soybean physical and chemical properties changed by size (from 4.8 to 8.8 mm diameter), but soybean size and seed density did not affect the protein and oil determination accuracy of three near-infrared transmission analyzers. Corn samples were also separated by size and kernel density. Changes in corn kernel density and size introduced small errors in near-infrared transmission protein, oil, a...
متن کاملExtending Calibrations for Near-Infrared Assay of Tablets Using Synthetic Modeling and Variance from Placebos
The range of a near-infrared (NIR) calibration model for tablet assay is extended using production “seed” spectra and synthetic spectra generated from placebos and “pure” API spectra. This method resolves the problem of not being able to obtain a range of production samples with +/15% of the label claim of API concentration online. A synthetic model is developed using five real production sampl...
متن کاملA New Local Modelling Approach Based on Predicted Errors for Near-Infrared Spectral Analysis
Over the last decade, near-infrared spectroscopy, together with the use of chemometrics models, has been widely employed as an analytical tool in several industries. However, most chemical processes or analytes are multivariate and nonlinear in nature. To solve this problem, local errors regression method is presented in order to build an accurate calibration model in this paper, where a calibr...
